What is Boxer Bay?

Our Story Started with a Dog Named Ranger.

In 1958, Howard “Smitty” Smith named his boat business after this loyal dog, founding “Ranger Fiberglass Boat Company”. Ranger was a best friend, joining Smitty in the air when he flew in the air force. Loyalty and quality have always been core values of Ranger Fiberglass Boat Company.

Much has changed since Dave, John, and Jenn Livingston purchased the company back in 1998, but they kept the name, and the values behind it.

‍

That small company, starting with a single model, has grown into Fluid Motion; now producing 21 models and counting. Solara exists to combine versatility, performance, and family fun on the water.

‍

Over the years, many Ranger Tugs owners have asked where they could find apparel to represent their appreciation for their beautiful boats.

Boxer Bay is our answer.
